BE A SUPPORTER OF SUNNAH

If you want to know how great it is to support and encourage people who call to pristine Islaam, just go and read the history of the Sohaabah (men and women) رضي الله عنهم who stood behind the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. Allaah gave them the best of ranks and they are the best set of people after the Prophets of Allaah. Allaah says:

(وَالسَّابِقُونَ الْأَوَّلُونَ مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالْأَنْصَارِ وَالَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُمْ بِإِحْسَانٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي تَحْتَهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ)

And the first forerunners [in the faith] among the Muhajireen and the Ansar and those who followed them with good conduct - Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him, and He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment [Q9:100]

Now, the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم is no more, but his Sunnah is alive. You missed physical jihad with him, don't miss the call and support for his Sunnah. If you want Allaah to be pleased with you, plant the love the sunnah of His Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم in your heart and support those who champion its cause in the society with whatever you have. Those who opposed the Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم during his liftime faced great humiliations. And today, those who oppose the sunnah are facing humiliations. The humiliations would continue until they are ready to abandon their desires and toe the path of the salaf as-saalih (righteous predecessors). 

O Allaah, count us among those who would be used to uplift the sunnah in our society. O Allaah, do not place us among those who promote bid'ah and shirk in our society. O Allaah, do not make our support for the sunnah and its scholars to be in vain, put it in our scale and make it available to us on the Day when all material things would be useless except good deeds
