NEED TO ENCOURAGE GOOD AND FORBID EVIL

There are many things we have all been taking for granted either due to our limited knowledge or our reluctance to do the right thing as provided in the Quran and Sunnah. Let us go and know, may Allaah bless us all that, for everything we condemn for ourselves or that which we encourage upon ourselves on this platform or elsewhere, there are proofs from Qur'an and hadiths. 

In a hadith reported by Hudhaifah رضي الله عنه, the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said if we stop warning ourselves against evils and stop enjoining goodness, Allaah would bring down His punishments on us. Most of the calamities we are facing in our society today are due to the fact that we praise evils and condemn the truth. 

May Allaah guide us aright.
