DA'WAH AND FEAR OF INSULT

One of the antics of shaytān is to instill the fear of insult in the mind of a preacher. If you want to correct an evil, shaytān will come to you say: what if he or she insults you? Many people who are learned with the truth have been scared from giving admonition in this manner. 

So, be prepared for anything (not only insult) when you are about to say the truth. Even some people may organize some thugs to beat you up and do greater evil to you. They stoned the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم in Taif just because he was calling to Taoheed (Monotheism). Whether the person or group of people you want to admonish accept your admonition or not, your reward will be intact with Allāh. But make sure your admonition is presented with kind words and wisdom. 

I know a brother in my area. His name is Adam. Even if you are carrying fire on your head, he will admonish you. He doesn't let go of any evil without correction and he calls to goodness at all time. I always envy him for this. May Allah keep him firm upon the truth.

Do not of be among those who hide the truth due to fear of insult. Even the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم was insulted for saying the truth. They even wanted to kill him and his Companions رضي الله عنهم. What a worthy salaf the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and his Companions رضي الله عنهم were to us.
