In this era, if you are a earner with the government, you still need a business. Don't allow people's opinion of you weigh you down. Know yourself and know what fits you. Advertise whatever you are selling, don't be shy about it. Shyness in this regard neither pays school fees of children nor cook soup in the house. 

Intellectual Property (IP) is the order of the day. Look for a unique area and develop yourself on it. Let people know you for it, this kind of show off is not blameworthy. This is the time to be smart. Don't waste your time and data on fruitless arguments and other frivolities online. May Allāh protect us and our households against hunger.

Meanwhile, note that there can be multiple persons in a business. Competition is good for every business to grow. If you give your customers the best, they will prefer you.
