BID'AH SPREADS BECAUSE OF IGNORANCE, SAYS SENATOR KABIRU GAYA

Hajia Aisha Gaya, former First Lady of Kano State is one of the foremost admirers of the Halāl Sex book. I once posted her video review on the book here. There is no time I enter Abuja that I do not have to visit her family. She is a great mother, adviser and well wisher. May Allāh continue to strengthen her.

My visit to her family yesterday was a unique one because I was in the company of Talba Ebiraland, Alhaji Hamza Usman (may Allāh continue to strengthen him) to condole with them on the loss of their son some months ago. May Allāh forgive and have mercy on him. Hajia took us to her husband, Distinguished Senator Kabiru Gaya and I used the opportunity to sign a copy of my book, "50 Common Bid'ah (Religious Innovations) in our Contemporary World" for him. He was happy to receive us. In his comment on the title of the book, he said they have more bid'ah in the North due to ignorance many Muslims. He promised to read and learn from it in order to avoid bid'ah.

By Allāh, we need to reach out to our elite. We need to take this da'wah to them sincerely for the sake of Allāh.
