PAINFUL REGRET

People whose refutations and corrections of fellow callers upon the Sunnah (even if they are upon the truth) are laced with insults, character assassination and innuendoes would later regret their speeches as they grow older. They will later seek forgiveness from those they have blackmailed or attacked unjustly. But one thing that would be somehow difficult for them to correct is the havoc they would have caused on the ignorant youths who learn poor manners from them thinking they are doing the right thing. Ignorance plus bad manners is destruction. 

It is important for us to watch who we take knowledge from. Many people have knowledge and they have good intention to guide people. But they lack good presentation. If good manner of presentation is not important, Allaah and His Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم wouldn't have emphasized its essence in da'wah methodology. Allaah says in one of the verses of the Qur'an:

وَقُولُوا لِلنَّاسِ حُسْنًا

And speak to people good (words) [Suratul Baqarah, Q2: 83]

بمكارم الأخلاق كن متخلقا ## ليفوح مسك ثيابك العطر الشذي

With good conduct be adorned, so that the musk in your clothe would scent nicely

وانفع صديقك إن صدقت صداقة ## وادفع عدوك بالتى فإذا الذى

Benefit your friend if you make a friend, and distance your enemy from yourself using a good method

May Allaah not let it be too late before we realize this.
