THE REAL SUNNAH

When some people are invited to Sunnah based Islaam, they say: "we don't even know which one to follow among you, you have many different groups".

Yes, it is true that many groups now ascribe to Sunnah without justification. That alone is a trial that the Muslim ummah has to face in the present world. Even shi'as are claiming to be upon Sunnah. Some sufis too have started claiming to be upon Sunnah. Based on a clear hadith, not less than 73 sects would ascribe to Islaam before the end of time. But only one of them will be upon guidance. They are those who stay upon what the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم  and his Companions رضي الله عنهم were upon. They would not contradict them in their 'aqeedah, ibaadah and akhlaaq. They stick to what the best generations of Muslims were upon with fear of Allaah and hope of His pleasure.

It is therefore, the responsibility of everyone to search for the real Sunnah by searching for the real knowledge through the true scholars in accordance with the Qur'an, Sunnah and the understanding of the Sohaabah رضي الله عنهم. Then, we should continue to supplicate Allaah for His divine guidance and protection from deviations and destruction. The cause of the deviations of a lot of people is ignorance, arrogance, self-desire, and excessive love for this material world. May Allah guide us aright
