TREAT WOMEN WITH PATIENCE AND KINDNESS

By their nature, they can decide to do anything that pleases them on a spot even if they will regret later. For instance, a woman may act in a way that is clearly injurious and painful to her husband out of annoyance without minding the consequence at that time. She may later come back to beg him on it. In fact, some of them would not even beg at all even when it is glaring they are at fault. This is why a man shouldn't really take their misbehaviours too serious. He is the leader, he needs to deal with her with maturity. A man should stand like a man by controlling his emotion in such situation. If a man is to react to everything a woman says out of anger, he can go extra mile and he would later be the one to be blamed. But if he deals with her with patience and maturity, he would later get the best out of her.
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم dealt with several women, he knew them better than us and he is our role model. Abu Harayrah رضي الله عنه reported that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
“Treat women kindly, for woman was created from a bent rib, and the most crooked part of the rib is the top part, so treat women kindly.” [Bukhari and Muslim]
However, this is not an excuse for a woman to start misbehaving excessively towards her husband, saying,
"shebi the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم has said we were created from the bent rib and that you should still treat us with kindness even if we misbehave".
As a Muslim woman who fears Allah and the Day of Judgment, try your best to treat your man with respect, dignity and honour.
May Allaah guide us aright.
