ATTAINMENT OF CLOSENESS WITH ALLĀH

The attainment of closeness with Allaah is not merely by knowledge, or beauty, nobility or some other worldly achievements. Someone may have knowledge, if he doesn't apply it, there is danger. Although, to dress in accordance with the Sunnah is praiseworthy and rewarding. But Islamic dressing is not a conclusive yardstick to measure righteousness. The proper hijab, beards and some other symbols of Sunnah appearance are our uniforms as commanded by Allaah. Anyone who fails to adorn them with their conditions is sinning. But they are not exclusive proof of righteousness. There are many other aspects of the Sunnah we need to take very serious.

Apart from dressing properly to be identified as serious Muslims, there are many other important aspects of the Deen that we must take proper care of. For instance, things that has to do with right of other people in the society. For instance, right of relatives, right of neighbors (near and distanced), spousal rights, right of leaders and so on. It is not sufficient to just be a salafi by mere appearance without openly and inwardly emulating the Salaf (The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and the Companions رضي الله عنهم).
