The very first thing Allah saddled his creations He has given the free will to chose to believe in him or not, from amongst the humans and jinns is to know and understand him. Without which the second most important purpose he created them for will be completely lost because it's essence will never be truly understood then.

As a matter of fact, the purpose of making our universe with this magnificence and gargantuan nature is to understand the how mighty our creator is.

Allah said:

 Ł±Ł„Ł„َّŁ‡ُ Ł±Ł„َّŲ°ِŪŒ Ų®َŁ„َŁ‚َ Ų³َŲØۡŲ¹َ Ų³َŁ…َŁ€ٰŁˆَ ٰ⁠ŲŖࣲ ŁˆَŁ…ِŁ†َ Ł±Ł„ۡŲ£َŲ±ۡŲ¶ِ Ł…ِŲ«ۡŁ„َŁ‡ُŁ†َّۖ ŪŒَŲŖَŁ†َŲ²َّŁ„ُ Ł±Ł„ۡŲ£َŁ…ۡŲ±ُ ŲØَŪŒۡŁ†َŁ‡ُŁ†َّ Ł„ِŲŖَŲ¹ۡŁ„َŁ…ُŁˆۤŲ§۟ Ų£َŁ†َّ Ł±Ł„Ł„َّŁ‡َ Ų¹َŁ„َŁ‰ٰ ŁƒُŁ„ِّ Ų“َŪŒۡŲ”ࣲ Ł‚َŲÆِŪŒŲ±ࣱ ŁˆَŲ£َŁ†َّ Ł±Ł„Ł„َّŁ‡َ Ł‚َŲÆۡ Ų£َŲ­َŲ§Ų·َ ŲØِŁƒُŁ„ِّ Ų“َŪŒۡŲ”ٍ Ų¹ِŁ„ۡŁ…َۢŲ§ 

Allah is He Who created seven heavens, and their like of earth(meaning the whole of the universe). The command descends between them so that you may know that Allah is Powerful over everything and that Allah has encompassed everything in knowledge. [Surah Aį¹­-į¹¬alāq: 12]

The observable universe with the aid of any technology or the biggest telescopes you can ever find is said to be about 45 billion lightyears which is equalling to about 5.88 trillion miles.

Caitlin Johnson once said :

If, then, we ever devised a way to travel at the speed of light, then the simplest answer to today’s question is that it would take 46 billion years to move across the entire cosmos. Or, to travel to the edge of the observable universe from our current vantage point, at least. It would take roughly 93 billion years to travel across the entire map of the universe as we currently see it. And, because some estimates on the size of the unobservable universe exceed twenty trillion lightyears, it would take us upwards of twenty trillion years to see it all. Even at speed-of-light-speeds. But humans only live for about seventy years on average… so that’s just not good enough.

And the almighty described himself to be far above all of his creations, Allah said:

 Ų£َŁ…ۡ Ų£َŁ…ِŁ†ŲŖُŁ… Ł…َّŁ† ŁِŪŒ Ł±Ł„Ų³َّŁ…َŲ§ۤŲ”ِ Ų£َŁ† ŪŒُŲ±ۡŲ³ِŁ„َ Ų¹َŁ„َŪŒۡŁƒُŁ…ۡ Ų­َŲ§ŲµِŲØࣰŲ§ۖ ŁَŲ³َŲŖَŲ¹ۡŁ„َŁ…ُŁˆŁ†َ ŁƒَŪŒۡŁَ Ł†َŲ°ِŪŒŲ±ِ 

Or do you feel secure that He, Who is over the heaven(the whole of the universe) (AllĆ¢h), will not send against you a violent whirlwind? Then you shall know how (terrible) has been My Warning. [Surah Al-Mulk: 17]

And yet, we are too proud to say in our little minds "WE DON'T HAVE EVIDENCE HE EXIST", even when the longest lived amongst us even if traveling at the speed of light which is scientifically almost impossible will never get any close to where he is!

Truly! 

 ŁˆَŁ…َŲ§ Ł‚َŲÆَŲ±ُŁˆŲ§۟ Ł±Ł„Ł„َّŁ‡َ Ų­َŁ‚َّ Ł‚َŲÆۡŲ±ِŁ‡ِŪ¦ ŁˆَŁ±Ł„ۡŲ£َŲ±ۡŲ¶ُ Ų¬َŁ…ِŪŒŲ¹ࣰŲ§ Ł‚َŲØۡŲ¶َŲŖُŁ‡ُŪ„ ŪŒَŁˆۡŁ…َ Ł±Ł„ۡŁ‚ِŪŒَŁ€ٰŁ…َŲ©ِ ŁˆَŁ±Ł„Ų³َّŁ…َŁ€ٰŁˆَ ٰ⁠ŲŖُ Ł…َŲ·ۡŁˆِŪŒَّŁ€ٰŲŖُۢ ŲØِŪŒَŁ…ِŪŒŁ†ِŁ‡ِŪ¦ۚ Ų³ُŲØۡŲ­َŁ€ٰŁ†َŁ‡ُŪ„ ŁˆَŲŖَŲ¹َŁ€ٰŁ„َŁ‰ٰ Ų¹َŁ…َّŲ§ ŪŒُŲ“ۡŲ±ِŁƒُŁˆŁ†َ 

Yet they did not hold Allah in his true esteem, for the entire earth will be in His grip on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens are folded in His right. Highly Exalted is He and Most High beyond the associations they make. [Surah Az-Zumar: 67]

Al-Imām An-nawawī in his Al-Maqāsid pointed out that the very first compulsory thing upon the creations of Allah with free will is to KNOW AND UNDERSTAND ALLAH.

Ł‚Ų§Ł„ Ų§Ł„Ų„Ł…Ų§Ł… Ų§Ł„Ł†ŁˆŁˆŁŠ ŁŁŠ Ų§Ł„Ł…Ł‚Ų§ŲµŲÆ Ųµ Ł”Ł”:

ŁˆŲ£ŁˆŁ„ ŁˆŲ§Ų¬ŲØ Ų¹Ł„Ł‰ Ų§Ł„Ł…ŁƒŁ„Ł Ł…Ų¹Ų±ŁŲ© Ų§Ł„Ł„Ł‡ ŁˆŁ‡ŁŠ: ....

Some others will say "If He truly exists, let him show himself to us! How arrogant can man be!!!

Allah answered through his messenger saying He knows it will be a perfect answer for an unbelieving mind:

Al-Imām At-tabarābī in his Mu'jam al-Kabir reported that:

Hashim bin Murthad narrated to us, Muhammad bin Ismail bin Ayyash narrated to us, my father narrated to me, Damdam bin Zur'ah narrated to me, from Shurayh bin Ubaid, from Abu Malik al-Ash'ari, who said:

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Allah, the Exalted, says: 'I have concealed three things from My servants. If a man were to see them, he would never commit evil again:

1. If I were to lift My veil and they saw Me, they would be certain and know how I deal with My creation when I come to them.

2. If I were to grasp the heavens in My hand, then grasp the earth and the mountains, and say: "I am the King, who else has dominion besides Me?"

3. If I were to show them Paradise and all the good I have prepared for them, they would be certain of it. And if I were to show them Hell and all the evil I have prepared for them, they would be certain of it.

But I have intentionally concealed these things from them, so I may know how they will act. And I have made it clear to them (through my signs and sending of messengers and revealing of books).'"

ŁِŁŠ Ų§Ł„ْŁ…ُŲ¹ْŲ¬َŁ…ِ Ų§Ł„ْŁƒَŲØِŁŠŲ±ِ Ų£َŁŠْŲ¶ًŲ§: Ų­َŲÆَّŲ«َŁ†َŲ§ Ł‡َŲ§Ų“ِŁ…ُ ŲØْŁ†ُ Ł…ُŲ±ْŲ«َŲÆ  ، Ų­َŲÆَّŲ«َŁ†َŲ§ Ł…ُŲ­َŁ…َّŲÆُ ŲØْŁ†ُ Ų„ِŲ³ْŁ…َŲ§Ų¹ِŁŠŁ„َ ŲØْŁ†ِ Ų¹َŁŠَّŲ§Ų“ٍ، Ų­َŲÆَّŲ«َŁ†ِŁŠ Ų£َŲØِŁŠ، Ų­َŲÆَّŲ«َŁ†ِŁŠ Ų¶َŁ…ْŲ¶َŁ…ُ ŲØْŁ†ُ Ų²ُŲ±ْŲ¹َŲ©َ، Ų¹َŁ†ْ Ų“ُŲ±َŁŠْŲ­ِ ŲØْŁ†ِ Ų¹ُŲØَŁŠْŲÆٍ، Ų¹َŁ†ْ Ų£ŲØŁŠ Ł…Ų§Ł„Łƒ Ų§Ł„ْŲ£َŲ“ْŲ¹َŲ±ِŁŠِّ  Ł‚َŲ§Ł„َ: Ł‚َŲ§Ł„َ Ų±َŲ³ُŁˆŁ„ُ Ų§Ł„Ł„َّŁ‡ِ ļ·ŗ: "Ų„ِŁ†َّ Ų§Ł„Ł„َّŁ‡َ ŲŖَŲ¹َŲ§Ł„َŁ‰ ŁŠَŁ‚ُŁˆŁ„ُ: Ų«َŁ„َŲ§Ų«ُ Ų®ِŁ„َŲ§Ł„ٍ ŲŗَŁŠَّŲØŲŖُŁ‡ُŁ†َّ Ų¹َŁ†ْ Ų¹ِŲØَŲ§ŲÆِŁŠ، Ł„َŁˆْ Ų±َŲ¢Ł‡ُŁ†َّ Ų±َŲ¬ُŁ„ٌ Ł…َŲ§ Ų¹َŁ…ِŁ„َ Ų³ُŁˆŲ”ًŲ§ Ų£َŲØَŲÆًŲ§: Ł„َŁˆْ ŁƒَŲ“َŁْŲŖُ ŲŗِŲ·َŲ§Ų¦ِŁŠ ŁŲ±Ų¢Ł†ŁŠ Ų­ŲŖŁ‰ Ł†Ų³ŲŖŁŠŁ‚Ł† ŁˆَŁŠَŲ¹ْŁ„َŁ…َ ŁƒَŁŠْŁَ Ų£َŁْŲ¹َŁ„ُ ŲØِŲ®َŁ„ْŁ‚ِŁŠ Ų„ِŲ°َŲ§ Ų£َŲŖَŁŠْŲŖُŁ‡ُŁ…ْ، ŁˆَŁ‚َŲØَŲ¶ْŲŖُ Ų§Ł„Ų³Ł…ŁˆŲ§ŲŖ ŲØِŁŠَŲÆِŁŠ، Ų«ُŁ…َّ Ł‚َŲØَŲ¶ْŲŖُ Ų§Ł„ْŲ£َŲ±ْŲ¶َ  ŁˆَŲ§Ł„ْŲ£َŲ±ْŲ¶ِŁŠŁ†َ، Ų«ُŁ…َّ Ł‚ُŁ„ْŲŖُ: Ų£َŁ†َŲ§ Ų§Ł„ْŁ…َŁ„ِŁƒُ، Ł…َŁ†ْ Ų°َŲ§ Ų§Ł„َّŲ°ِŁŠ Ł„َŁ‡ُ Ų§Ł„ْŁ…ُŁ„ْŁƒُ ŲÆُŁˆŁ†ِŁŠ؟ Ų«ُŁ…َّ Ų£َŲ±َŁŠْŲŖُŁ‡ُŁ…ُ  Ų§Ł„ْŲ¬َŁ†َّŲ©َ ŁˆَŁ…َŲ§ Ų£َŲ¹ْŲÆَŲÆْŲŖُ Ł„َŁ‡ُŁ…ْ ŁِŁŠŁ‡َŲ§ Ł…ِŁ†ْ ŁƒُŁ„ِّ Ų®َŁŠْŲ±ٍ، ŁَŁŠَŲ³ْŲŖَŁŠْŁ‚ِŁ†ُŁˆŁ‡َŲ§. ŁˆَŲ£ُŲ±ِŁŠŁ‡ِŁ…ُ Ų§Ł„Ł†َّŲ§Ų±َ ŁˆَŁ…َŲ§ Ų£َŲ¹ْŲÆَŲÆْŲŖُ Ł„َŁ‡ُŁ…ْ ŁِŁŠŁ‡َŲ§ Ł…ِŁ†ْ ŁƒُŁ„ِّ Ų“َŲ±ٍّ ŁَŁŠَŲ³ْŲŖَŁŠْŁ‚ِŁ†ُŁˆŁ‡َŲ§، ŁˆَŁ„َŁƒِŁ†ْ Ų¹َŁ…ْŲÆًŲ§ ŲŗَŁŠَّŲØْŲŖُ Ų°َŁ„ِŁƒَ Ų¹َŁ†ْŁ‡ُŁ…ْ Ł„ِŲ£َŲ¹ْŁ„َŁ…َ ŁƒَŁŠْŁَ ŁŠَŲ¹ْŁ…َŁ„ُŁˆŁ†َ، ŁˆَŁ‚َŲÆْ ŲØَŁŠَّŁ†ْŲŖُŁ‡ُ Ł„َŁ‡ُŁ…ْ" 

IT IS BASICALLY ANOTHER LEVEL OF TEST

The fact that science with its tremendous progress lately can explain the effects of many phenomenon we witness on the surface of the earth doesn't make it a replacement to the believe in a Supreme being that controls the origin and the aftermath of these phenomenons. 

The prophet explained this to a bedouin arab when he asked him about disease spread amongst his 

Ł„Ų§ Ų¹َŲÆŁˆŁ‰ ، ŁˆŁ„Ų§ Ų·ŁŠَŲ±Ų©َ ، ŁˆŁ„Ų§ ŲµŁŲ±َ ، ŁˆŁ„Ų§ Ł‡Ų§Ł…َّŲ© ŁŁ‚Ų§Ł„َ Ų£Ų¹Ų±Ų§ŲØŁŠٌّ : Ł…Ų§ ŲØŲ§Ł„ُ Ų§Ł„Ų„ŲØŁ„ِ ŲŖَŁƒŁˆŁ†ُ ŁŁŠ Ų§Ł„Ų±َّŁ…Ł„ِ ŁƒŲ£Ł†َّŁ‡Ų§ Ų§Ł„ŲøِّŲØŲ§Ų”ُ ŁŁŠŲ®Ų§Ł„Ų·ُŁ‡Ų§ Ų§Ł„ŲØŲ¹ŁŠŲ±ُ Ų§Ł„Ų£Ų¬Ų±َŲØُ ŁŁŠŲ¬Ų±ŲØُŁ‡Ų§ ؟ Ł‚Ų§Ł„َ : ŁَŁ…Ł† Ų£Ų¹ŲÆŁ‰ Ų§Ł„Ų£ŁˆَّŁ„َ

There is no contagion, no bad omen, no safar (bad omen for the second lunar month), and no hamma (superstitions towards bird flying at night).

A Bedouin man asked: "What about the fact that camels in the desert are like gazelles, and a scabby camel mixes with them and infects them?"

The Prophet replied: "Who infected the first one?"

HE IS SIMPLY THE ORIGIN OF ANY PHENOMENON FOUND ON EARTH.

Also, the fact that whenever he wills that it happens, no one can stop him, Allah said:

{ Ų£َŁ…َّŁ†ۡ Ł‡َŁ€ٰŲ°َŲ§ Ł±Ł„َّŲ°ِŪŒ ŪŒَŲ±ۡŲ²ُŁ‚ُŁƒُŁ…ۡ Ų„ِŁ†ۡ Ų£َŁ…ۡŲ³َŁƒَ Ų±ِŲ²ۡŁ‚َŁ‡ُŪ„ۚ ŲØَŁ„ Ł„َّŲ¬ُّŁˆŲ§۟ ŁِŪŒ Ų¹ُŲŖُŁˆࣲّ ŁˆَŁ†ُŁُŁˆŲ±ٍ }

Or, who is there to give you sustenance, if He withholds His sustenance? Still, they persist in rebellion and aversion.[ Surah Al-Mulk: 21]
