The book, “Garment of Compassion” provides an in-depth insight into a successful marital life. The author, Barr. Abdullateef Abdullahi, demonstrated his vast experience in marital guidance and counselling, delving into the mostly sensitive and reserved aspects of marriage with scholarly lenses of both Islamic and conventional scriptures. 

From the foundation of marriage, living a healthy couple’s life, sexual compatibility, sex and seduction to sustaining intimacy in marriage, the contexts of this book extensively prepare the couples-to-be, support the new couples and old couples how to enjoy each other’s spouses truly as garments whilst keeping the ultimate law of life as legislated by the Almighty. 

A hadith reported by Imam Muslim رحمه الله from the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم states that “The world is enjoyment and the best enjoyment in the world is a righteous wife.” This book explicitly unveils the means to such enjoyment and makes marriage adorable.
