CONFESSION OF A HUMBLE SERVANT
By
Ibn Abdillahi As-sudaisiy Al-Iloori
O Allāh! You hid all my faults from their preying eyes. And You cloaked me with a beautiful attire (by covering my deficiencies)
They started showing me love, even though I’m not a loveable (but due to Your grace, O Allāh) they mistook me for a better person.
My Lord and Creator, make their good thoughts about me manifest in me. I seek this, in the honour of your words revealed in the Qur’ān.
My Lord, never expose my secrets to them. My Guardian, do not disgrace me at the resurrection ground.
