NO HIDING PLACE FOR THE HERESIES OF SUFISM IN OUR SOCIETY

I have noticed that some Sufis have started to disown one of their own (Alfa Onikijipa) over his baseless assertions on questioning in the grave and some other 'aqeedah issues in a video that has just gone viral. This came with no surprise at all. The Sufis are fond of removing from their fold anyone who truly manifests their true creed in public. They themselves are so much ashamed of some of their heresies. They hardly lay claim those dangerous creeds in public because they know they will not go unrefuted. They believe some of their creeds are not meant to be proclaimed in the public domain.

Anyone who has ever practised sufiyyah know this truth. They call them *"oro inu ile" (secret matters)*. This is one of the reasons why sufism can't be part of Islām. It offends the Sunnah in so many ways. Sunnah is Islām, Islām is Sunnah. In the Sunnah, there is nothing like secret matters. What we would not say in public, we do not say it in the closet. All the 'aqeedah of Islām as documented in the Qur'an and Sunnah are contained in the classical books of scholars. We can read them anywhere and profess them wherever we go. This is unlike the Sufis who have many issues they can't say in the public domain. They call it *"baatini" (hidden matters)*. Iro lasan!

There is no more hiding space for sufism and its adherents in our society. They have been sufficiently exposed by past and present scholars and Muslims are beginning to understand the danger of moving close to them in the course of perpetrating their acts of bid'ah. We know so much about them because we used to be fully involved. We thank Allāh for guiding us towards the Sunnah. We also pray Allāh to guide everyone who is toeing any of the paths of bid'ah in our society to the path of Sunnah.
